Help with Child Support Arrangements
When there is uncertainty or a disagreement about who the father of a child is (parentage), parents can choose to have a legal DNA test done or a court can make an order to have one completed. Parentage needs to be determined to decide who has to pay child support. This will also have an impact on whether or not a person can claim Centrelink payments and other services. If you have recently had a paternity test completed and require changes to be made to your child support arrangements, please also refer to your specific state, as laws apply by state which will help guide and support you through the process.
